About Me
Nick Blair
Hello!
My name is Nick (He, Him, His) and I am in my 30’s, living on the best coast in the Pacific Northwest. I am a native to this region, born and raise in Vancouver, Washington, which is a mere 10min drive from the forever weird and wonderful Portland, Oregon.
My passion for imagery - both photography and videography - began at a young age with my love of film. I have always been drawn to the great film makers and cinematographers of my time - from George Lucas’s Star Wars, to Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and anything lens by Rodger Deakins - I love aesthetically stimulating imagery.
It is my belief that everyone deserves to feel like they can be represented in a way that flatters them. Your comfort in front of my camera is the #1 most important aspect of any of my sessions. Once you are comfortable, we can create anything together.
I would love to chat more with you about the kind of content we could create together. Please feel free to send me an email, give my instagram a follow for the latest in my work, and check my homepage to review the types of services I offer.

Testimonials
“We first worked with Nick at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim in 2022. He was able to get us impressive shots that encompassed the entire convention. They were crisp, vivid, and really helped us with our press coverage of SWCA. If you’re looking for an event photographer, you need to hire Nick.”

“Nick is not only a phenomenal photographer, but an amazing person. His work speaks for itself, in more ways than one.
He creates a comfortable and encouraging environment during photo shoots, along with providing great feedback. He’s personable, professional, timely, and kind.
Furthermore, he is great and coaching you along the way (if you need a little extra help behind the camera). Every time I have worked with Nick, I have been extremely satisfied with the results! He and his work is amazing, and I will definitely come back to work with Nick again.”

Model
“Nick is a great photographer to work with! Not only is he super professional, he understands that modeling can be a very vulnerable thing, and he made me feel super comfortable!
He also adapted phenomenally to what I was wanting to shoot, and we got the perfect shots from his creativity! I recommend Nick 110% to everyone!!”

I do accept collaborations under the right circumstances. For more information about my collaboration policies, please email me with the heading “collaboration request,” and be sure to include your experience as a model, your social media pages, and what exactly you are looking for in a photoshoot.
-
Most often times, no. I would prefer to give my clients at least an hour so that we can create their vision together without feeling the need to rush or cut corners.
-
Yes! Unless you are feeling particularly stumped, all my photography packages allow you to choose the shots you would have my edit in my own style or a style that we agree would work best. The only time I would not fulfill this request is if I feel I simply cannot deliver a high quality finale product on a particular image that was perhaps selected by mistake, or has a flaw that was not noticeable during the selection process.
-
Yes, absolutely. Please contact me about the photo or photos you wish to have printed, and we can discuss pricing.

For every photo session with a female identifying subject, I will do all that I can to ensure that I have a female assistant with us on set / location for your comfort level. I will also strive to always provide a space or solution for privacy during outfit changes, and I will always ask for consent should the need for physical contact arise. This is rarely the case and would only be for posing purposes if the situation does occur.
The comfort level of my clients is the most important aspect to me. -
Sure, if the cost of traveling is covered and it fits my schedule. Email me with your proposal with the subject “travel shoot.”

While I do offer services for boudoir, and nude photography, this is for artistic purposes only, and not for sexual exploration or exploitation.
I do NOT offer services for erotic photography, which may include but not be limited to - stimulation, kinks, fetishes, sexual acts etc.
Should you be in need of those services, there are several other highly talented photographers in the area that can better serve you.
